El Hadji Ousmane Fansou Bodian has devoted his life to the teaching of Islam and observe its precepts as they were transmitted to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), testified as a leitmotif the many faithful who had to speak to honor the religious leader. El Hadji Fansou Bodian became Imam Ratib of Bignona in 1999 and continued to invest in peace and solidarity among the Muslim and Christian community but also for the development of Islam through the natural region of Casamance and created more than one hundred (100) schools teaching Arabic through all the countries of the region, including the Arab High School Bignona. Today, more than 120 volunteers from its institutions exercise on behalf of the Ministry of National Education. And better, several of his students, disciples and students are now located in the sub-region and also travel around Europe and Arab countries. Each year, thousands of talibes Gamou organize an annual tribute to this man of God and one who also finished to prove the materialization as advocated in our skies Christian-Muslim dialogue.
