Mohammed Indimi is chairman of Oriental Energy Resources, a private Nigerian oil exploration and production company. Oriental, which Indimi founded in 1990, has three projects in the offshore Nigerian oil and gas industry, including the Ebok Field, which produces 35,000 barrels a day. It shares ownership of the projects with U.K.-listed oil exploration company Afren Plc. The Ebok Field was awarded to Oriental Energy Resources in 2007 by a joint venture between Exxon-Mobile and the Nigerian National Petroleum Co. Eight of Indimi children serve on the board of Oriental Energy.
