Gus Attridge, Deputy CEO at Aspen Pharmacare, joins Forbes list of Africa's Richest for the first time following a 75% surge in the company's stock over the past year. Attridge, who owns a 4% stake in Aspen Pharmacare, cofounded the company with Stephen Saad, who is CEO and also a member of Forbes list of Richest Africans. Attridge is the second largest individual shareholder, following Saad. Aspen Pharmacare manufactures drugs in 17 factories including in several African countries, Australia, Mexico, Brazil and Germany.
