Meet Cheikh Aziz Ndiaye, a devoted scholar of Maolana Cheikh Al Islam El Hadji Ibrahima Niass.
Born and raised in the capital between Pikine and Medina Gounass, Cheikh Aziz is a disciple of Cheikh Mouhammad Nazirou Niass, son of Baye Niass, and has embarked on a profound journey of Quranic studies. After completing his primary and secondary education in the holy city of Medina Baye Niass Kaolack, where he also obtained his baccalaureate in Arabic language, he found solace and enlightenment in this religious center.
Choosing to remain in Senegal, Cheikh Aziz turned down scholarship opportunities to dedicate himself to the Tijaniya path, with the goal of serving his master (serigne) and contributing to the spread of this spiritual practice. Becoming a religious guide (moukhadam) in 1998 after receiving his Idjaza (authorization), he initially refrained from assuming this role due to personal reasons.
In 2003, driven by the need to establish a dahira (association of followers of the same Sufi order, in this case the Tijaniya), Cheikh Aziz took the initiative to guide and educate disciples on the essence of Tijaniya teachings.
With a deep commitment to serving the Tijaniya community and humanity at large, in alignment with the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PSL), Cheikh Aziz focuses on providing religious education and guidance to his disciples, aiming to be a catalyst for development in his community.
From this unwavering dedication to helping his people, Help House was born. This organization stands as a beacon of support for vulnerable populations, advocating for human rights, and fostering community development by fostering social connections, providing essential services, and meeting the needs of residents.
Help House\'s core focus areas include education, healthcare, resilience, and microfinance, reflecting Cheikh Aziz\'s vision of creating a positive impact and empowering his community.
