It's quite dense in RS Gold menus and tabs as they give you access to all the features that you can access with a PC client but with enough usage, you will be able to navigate efficiently and quickly. It will seem overwhelming at the start but actually, you're getting an advantage when you use OSRS since it's a "clean blank slate" experience, instead of having to learn how to use a feature you're familiar with using the PC client that is now hidden behind the menu of the mobile application.
Is all of that doable on mobile?
It's certainly doable I've played hours in Angel of Death (Nex Hard Mode) on my phone as an example. However, it's an effort-vs-value decision. The effort of doing casual skilling, dailies, and other minor pvm content, such as slayer is likely to be low enough that it's worth the effort on mobile. The possibility of high-end bossing is there but requires more work on mobile than on PC. The balance you strike is the decision of your own.
If you're new to RS3 it's important to take time to understand the way combat functions. The instructional video doesn't perform a fantastic job explaining how things work, so basically every RS3 guide author will provide better beginner information. Revo system is simple to use and quite efficient, just copy the setups provided on the Wiki and you're good to go. You can also use Legacy Mode Combat to emulate OSRS combat. This should work with any pvm made during the old school era. It is generally, however, that Revo is the best option. Revo setup will be slightly more efficient than Legacy and is worth investigating.
The difference between OSRS and rs3 mobile is the difference between day and night. I've played both games on pc and mobile, OSRS you're able to do most things on mobile. The Rs3 game, however, is a bit cumbersome and difficult to use, except for afk skilling and fighting with the mind (soul split +amp aura/scrim) The mobile interface isn't easily navigable, hard to find the right thing. This is not a pleasant experience.
If you do decide to play rs3 mobile Try to gain access to your account from your PC first. This will allow you to buy osrs gp setup capacity bars, loadouts and such.
