Jannie Mouton, known as the "Boere Buffett," worked as a stockbroker, founded PSG Group in 1995 and currently serves as chairman. His son Piet Mouton is the CEO. The group is active in financial planning and investment banking and owns 32.5% of Capitec Bank, its most successful startup. He chairs and is a major investor in Curro, a chain of independent schools for underprivileged young Africans.
