In this study of the glory of God motif of the resurrection in 1 Corinthians 15, we examine the latter half of Isaiah 6 and, John 12 and Revelation 16. It is clear that the time of fulfillment is the fullness of the appointed time for the arrival of the kingdom, hence the Lord sits upon the throne in his holy temnple high and lifted up. The presence of the Messiah in the glorious temple requires repentance and removal of iniquity, hence the reign of the dominion of the kingdom over sin and death. The message to be preached was to the wicked generation of the first century. How Long was Isaiah told the message should be proclaimed? Till the destruction of the city, and coming of the Lord, a common theme in John 12:37-41 and Revelation 15-16.
